Why register?

The purpose of registration is to collect the names and contact details of all those who whakapapa to Tainui hapū o Tainui waka ki Whāingaroa.  The Tainui o Tainui register will be used to:

​

• keep in touch with Tainui o Tainui whanau

• provide updates on claims and other important information

• identify those eligible to vote on Tainui o Tainui matters

 

Who can register?

Whānau who whakapapa to a tupuna, or hapū of Tainui listed on this website. 

All registrations will be checked by Tainui o Tainui administration, and verified by a Kaumātua with knowledge of Tainui o Tainui whakapapa. 

 

Privacy & Confidentiality
Tainui o Tainui is committed to protecting the privacy and mana of individuals, and whanau in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. All information gathered will be used for Tainui o Tainui purposes only.
